Plugs for 93 WRX
Would I be right in using PFR6B plugs gapped to 0.7mm for my 93 WRX? It is pretty much standard except for TSL backbox. I would have a ScoobyECU too but for the fact I have been waiting since April for a reply:D

I have a 94WRX with a VOS CHIP fitted,(Ausy equivalent to the scoobyecu)
I have NGK PFR6's set to .08 and note sure if I should either lower the gap or change plugs to NGK PFR7's as the boost has increased to 16PSI What the best option here.. thanks Mark. |
i'd be interested in an answer to this post as i have a similar setup. i have pfr6b's gapped to 0.8 running 15.5 psi with a scott t chip which again is similar to scoobyecu. also have full decat exhaust.

I have just bought some Denso Plugs(PK22PR8) which are a direct cross referenece to NGK PFR7's, but i guess are the JAP preferred plug.
Any comments on this plug gap... JDM WRX. Do you have a Wagon?. My Wagon as well as having VOS CHIP also has a scooby sport back box, a TSL decat center section and a K & N induction kit. All seems to make a good set up. I really need to get a boost gauge now to see what is happening. Possibly a knock link also cheers Mark. |
0.7mm plug gap seems to be the optimum ;)

hi, no i have a saloon. it made 266 bhp on clive atthowe rollers but that was without scott t chip. i'm a bit concerned about the plugs though, also i would agree with delboy about the knocklink, well worth getting. it has helped me out on many occassions and never been wrong. :) rob
