Pre MY97 scoobies had the TD-05 fitted. Also I beleive one of the EVO's (not sure which one though) had a TD-05 FE that can be bought of the shelf.

thought pretty much all uk cars had td04, there is an exception among the much older cars.

As stated above pre 97 wrxs and stis had TD05s, post 97 they all switched to various types of IHI turbos.

The evo 6 runs a front entry td05 but I dont believe it is a direct fit into the impreza.

Pre 97 UK saloons also had TD05's.
IIRC, 97 onwards WRX's received TD04's and only Sti's got the IHI's

The evo turbo is completely different and rotated the other way ! They share only the centre bearing housing casting with the Subaru version , even then it is machined to suit the big 16g compressor wheel.

Shame the Evo item isn't a direct fit really - first time you give gas and the engine implodes, lol :D
