Sti panel filter queries

I've done a search on this subject but was wondering if any of you could help me with some specific questions related to my car (apologies if I've not gleaned the appropriate info from my search!). I have MY03 STi Type UK with PPP. Approaching 10K service and whilst ordering a few goodies from Japanparts I got a couple of STi panel filters with this upcoming service in mind. Have read helpful comments from Tony Burns and John Felstead indicating the benefits of these filters over standard (thanks). In terms of the engine my car is standard as above (except for TSL Group N centre section and backbox, predominantly to please my ears!). Questions:

1. Will the change in resistance to flow upset the PPP map in terms of fueling etc. i.e. is it a risky mod on a type UK car with PPP?
2. Will IM get grumpy in terms of warranty?
3. Is there anything else I should know?
4. Should I do it or not?

Cheers in advance,
Hugh.

Agree with Steve :) Can't see how they could get grumpy - it's made by STI! Higihly recommended and less likely to damage your car than certain other filters that could be mentioned :)

Thanks fellas. The only reason I thought there might have been a warranty issue was the fact that my car is a UK spec and maybe JDM spec STi's have different breathing requirements with their tuning differences. Hence only available by importing yourself or buying from specialist importers and perhaps never intended for a standard UK spec STi. A little knowledge + extrapolation = paranoia on my part I think  , especially when you read about the consequences of MAF failures, underfueling etc on here  .

Anybody got any other thoughts?

I've ordered one for my StiPPP if that makes you feel any better. If it goes bang just put the orgional filter back in.
