Front / Rear Drive Bias

Is there any way of adjusting the front/rear drive bias on a UK STi8? I find it quite heavily front drive biased at the moment and am more used to rear drive cars.

there is no easy way- you should have bought a JDM car

Try adjusting tyre pressures

Chop it in and buy a Capri :D

Unless you have DCCD there isnt a way unforunately

unless you take the front drive shafts out but that will probably end in tears;)

Agreed, that's what DCCD is for. I'm afraid you need to chop the car in for a WR1, a JDM STI or the new 2005 UK/Euro STI with DCCD option. (Your dealer probably won't know about this yet).

I guess you could start taking a spanner to your car's drivetrain, but even then I can't think what you might do other than completely disconnect the drive to the front wheels - DCCD can't easily be retrofitted and you'll end up with an unsaleable machine if you start tinkering too much.

If it bothers you that much, a trip to Litchfields could be in order... ;)
