18" TRACK DAY WHEELS/TYRES
 

Ello everyone
Just about 10 days away from owning a WR1,was wondering if anybody had some advice on track day wheels and tyres.
ie do i need to stick to 18" or will 17" be ok?
also would i be better with road tyres or slicks??
appear to be quite skint after going for the WR1 so cheaper the better!!(still need to look the dogs though)

You can get 17" ones (they'll probably suit the track a little nicer and of course be a good bit cheaper for wheel and tyres), just be careful they clear the Brembo Brakes - there's not many out there that will ;)

Obviously you'll be popping round when you get it won't you.....;)

I believe the original 17" wheels with the RE070 tyres that the WR1 had before the 18" upgrade would be ideal for track, Powerstation may be a source.
