You will get an improvement in braking over the stock pad with any of the leading high performance pads from EBC (Red Stuff), Ferodo (DS2500-squeally), Mintex (1144 road/1155 road/track-dusty) or Pagid (RS4.2-expensive). If you go EBC make sure you get the new compound E388. To cure it more completely you may be better fitting braided brake line (Goodridge-£45-75) and better (DOT5.1) fluid.

Hi Mike,
Right then the plugs you need are NGK PFR7B's standard are 6's. The pads are EBC Ceramic Reds - not greens or old reds. Both are fitted on MY96 UK Turbo ( Modded ) Fine. Cheers Red. |

Brake fade will be heat related.
1. Brake fluid overheating/ineffective- replace with high temp dot 5.1 2. Pads/discs getting too hot - replace pads with pads which are better at higher temps (ie EBC Red Ceramics) Regards, Bob |
