lol - no shame in that mate. :) Nobody I know uses newsgroups, outside of my immediate circle of computer science geeky collegues. IMHO newsgroups are where the 'action' is.

basically a way to post files and for people to download them as above check www.giga-news.com and grabbit is a good news reader which i think you can get from www.shemes.com

i still use kazaalite.there were still 2.9 million others on it yesterday too.

BEWARE If you are using Suprnova. Its watched by more authorities than you can shake a big digital stick at.

If you must, make sure you use PeerGuardian or similar. Don't use P2P without one.

P2P sucks.

ahhh........newsgroups that brings back memories. do they still have alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.admiralkrag. the NTL server has crap newsgroup coverge (when it actually manges to be up). Is Agent Pro still the best newsgroup reader out there.

it may well be. i use grabbit which is great but havent used any others so couldnt tell you about that. giga news has 30 day retention on binaries so incomplete parts are rare. you can check whether that group is on there on the giga news website
