DVD BURNING?
 
PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP WITH DVD COPY SOFTWARE? I HAVE A PLEXTOR DVD BURNER IN MY DRIVE BUT I CANT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO COPY DVD'S WITH THE ROXIO SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH THE DRIVE. I HEARD THAT NERO SIX OVER COMES COPY RIGHT PROTECTION. IS THIS THE SOFTWARE TO BUY? ALSO, HOW DO YOU COPY ? MANY THANKS, HANS

You don't have to shout..... :Whatever_

I doubt that any legit commercially available software (especially Roxio or Nero) will let you copy protected dvds because it is somewhat illegal...

You need to get a hold of DVD Shrink of the net here is a good place to find it www.vcdhelp.com and its FREE yes i said FREE and if you look hard enough there is even a step by step guide on the same web site.

yup, go with dvdshrink,

1) Its Free
2) Its easy to use
3) It allows you to choose what parts of a disc you wish to copy and does all the encoding quicker than most other similar programs.
4) It burns to dvd
5) Good results even with quite heavy compression (DVD-r only 4.3ishGB, commercial discs much bigger than this usually)
6) Of course, use only for back up purposes! -

Tried many, and this one may not be thwe absolute best, but the facts above make it damn close!!
