Taking the car without paying the bill...

Picked up the car today from SP's in Carlisle after the usual brilliant service.... Big thanks to Alyn at AS Performance for the Motul oil at such short notice :D :D

Passed the plastic over and it's now "chip and PIN" but can't remember the number........ Bugger !!!!!!!!

"No problem" Tom says, just drop in and pay when you are passing !!!

I take the car home :) :)

I just wondered how many dealers do this sort of thing ??

they should have took your signature

AFAIK Chip & Pin is still only an option :)

your lucky, thy could have kept your car, and sold it to repay the outstanding money :D :D

certainly an option on the "pin" number.......................you can over-ride the machine at the mo' to allow for a signature, but this will cease in the next six months.......................................

Could have done it as a mail order too.......it certainly is only an option with Lloyds TSB Cardnet

Thanks for the replies :)

It wasn't the chip and pin thing it was the taking the goods / car / services and promising to pay later.........

Alyn..... thanks again for the oil, a lifesaver :D
