Right, heard a lot about the views on affairs but what about a one-off fling as an extra curricular activity outside marriage or a relationship? I have heard a lot of people do so just in an impulse and are good in hiding from their partners!
"I went out to that stag night do and met that bimbo in the club.I was drunk It just happened but won't tell my partner..." kinda thing.
I wouldnt do that myself and havent experienced it(not that I know of) but lets have your views................

maybe i misunderstood the previous thread. i took "affair" to mean any kind of extra marital activity that required a shower afterwards. ;)

May be I did! Affair sounded a bit of a long term crime activity but fling is just a one off thingie.............
I mean a one night stand - is it a fling or an affair?

fling=short romance

One night stand = exactly that, it happens, you either regret it or you dont.

Affair=see above , and carry it on.

So, there is a difference between an affair and a fling !
I may not be so accurate but still not wrong! :)

only my take on it.

In that case, I keep having flings with the same married woman, and long may the 'flings' continue!!!!

A one night stand is probably better then an affair as you have less chance of getting caught and you tend to not get emotionally involved



and in doggy you can pull faces behind their backs and kaugh about it the next day :D:D:D
