Castor, Is this normal?

Hi:

Last week I did de Whiteline ALK KCA319M in my Impreza My98 turbo and the Cusco front lower arm. After that I measured the castor and the values were:

Left: 3.11°
Right: 3.2°

Really , I thought it should be about 4° of castor... but it wasn't the case.

Regarding this, the turn is better tha before, but, Is this normal?

Thanks in advance

What is the Cusco front lower arm?
Is it the cross-brace you mean?

As i thought!
But thanks for the site, I've been looking for the lower rear subframe brace for ever, and there it is!
Incidentally I have the MRT brace, picture 16, great fit too. Does it actually DO anything? Not sure but confuses many.

Back to the question of caster.
Your settings are about all you can hope for from the stock top mounts.
I have the MRT tops and 8 deg caster both sides.

Well, I fitted both, ALK and Front cross member together... I did notice a great improve in the turn in and the car feels more controllable. The dark side is the car now is "hard" in bumpy roads... But I can't say wether is for the Lower arm or the ALK... wathever, they sure will help because stiffen the front and this helps in tha weigth transfer

Thanks!
