At last the new G4-compatible 3-channel remote garage door receivers are available, circa £99 inc vat. They are DIY fittable, three outputs programmable for pulsed or latched (ie to pulse the up/down buttons for the door, or latched to turn on the light for instance). Or even use it to remotely control anything you like at all! Just ask your local Clifford dealer for more details.
