Sorry to go on folks BUT

Prices are going to go UP http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

But...

All orders placed with Navtrak before 9th July will be OK for FOC units provided fitted before end September. If you order with ME then they'll be the offer price http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Just to help everyone, if you can't get to London, I can get Proactive units fitted throughout England, Scotland, Wales at your home or place of work - provided you have a garage or cover from the elements http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Take advantage of this before they start charging http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif

PS - Emails will be answered & dealt with ASAP. If I haven't got back to you, ring me on 07976 327 679 (Office type hours 'cos it don't work where I live http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif )

Any interested parties, need to start making arrangements today for free unit. Have to be ordered by Monday - so last chance saloon Friday really...

ScoobySnack 05 July 2001 03:18 PM

All I can say is cheers Puff.........

Had the installer out to my house today, and the fitting was over in 3 hours. He was professional, courteous and knew exactly what he was doing........

System is up and running. Feel a bit more secure now, and definitely happier with the cheaper insurance quotes....

So anybody who is evening thinking about doing this, do it now........

Big thanks to Puff,
ordered mine this morning (or at least i think that's why puff phoned me and asked the details he did http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif)

Getting it fitted real soon.

Top marks to Puff for an excellent deal, and it's a shame that the discount could not last for longer, but then that's life I suppose.

GraemeC 05 July 2001 04:55 PM

Yep, sorted mine out with Puff this morning too and was quite surprised how soon it is getting done!!

Many Thanks.............

Puff - would it be a good idea for you/simon delete this thread once the offer is done?

There seem to be a lot of people advertising which tracking system their car has. While it may be unlikely, we don't want someone to loose their car and for joe scumbag to know exactly what they're looking for.....

Puff The Magic Wagon! 06 July 2001 02:38 PM

Agree http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Although the thanks are appreciated might be better to keep them off bbs.

Sorry to ask stupid questions so late in the day but could you confirm that the NavTrak is:

a) Thatcham Cat Q approved; and
b) VSIB approved fitters used; ie all appropriate paperwork to keep insurance companies happy.

Thanks

Chris

What's the scoop on the navtrak deal now ??

Also is anyone doing the fitting in the Aberdeen area??

Stuart

Puff The Magic Wagon! 12 July 2001 09:27 PM

Stuart

Unfortunately, the "free" units are no longer available (must change banner add http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif ) & they now cost... This is something I can't get away from http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif It makes the proactive around £480 inc VAT fitted. £400 for the passive.

Therefore, because the price is nearer the other systems, you must judge the various units on their own merits & make your own choice. I would only say that you should probably choose the proactive over the passive because it is likely to be more insurance friendly & I'd rather be told that my car had gone walkies, than find it.

Saying all the above, I've an engineer coming up to Aberdeen next week to do a couple...

Email me a phone number & I'll see what I can do tomorrow if you are interested.
