What year is the STI? If its an import, a remap for UK fuel is beneficial since its designed to run on 100ron fuel. The "side effect" of this is more power, torque and driveability. Effectively, the PPP is only a moderate remap and some shiny bits. With supporting mods, there will be a lot of differance in terms of driveability, straight line speed and even fuel consumption.

Manufacturers have to work to emmission regulations and ideal fuel consumptions etc. For some reason, they also like to instill a certain degree of mechanical sympathy...........more power/torque leads to more strain on the engine and a certain amount of premature wear.

Haven't got time to add any more....i'm sure others will respond.

Hope this helps,

Pete

Agree with Pete, remap with the odd mod will make a big difference...custom map Tek3 works a dream and gives better mpg (which is wild).
