I installed one of these a month ago, very easy to do as long as you find the right wires, the hardest one is the wire to the lambda sensor. I connected this at the sensor where it has a plug in connector, the wire you want is the shielded one and can't be mistaken from the other two. If you want any other info let us know and i'll try and help.

I have just ordered the above items from Scoobymania to check if I am "leaning out" following the full de-catting of my MY99. Also looks pretty neat having seen the photos of Stef's car http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I've never noticed my gauge indicating anything out of the ordinary and ideally I guess you'd have it fitted near no.3, but it certainly looks like it's doing something! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Installation seems relatively simple, but Elvis at Tyres Northampton fitted mine. The only thing he didn't know was which were the signal wires on the loom, but I believe it was the ones with gold terminals....or was it the silver ones? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I thought it wired into the lamda sensor, just a presumption though until it arrives and I can read the "destructions"

It's oil temp and/or knock sensor that would ideally be located near no.3

The a/f ratio meter is as you say wired to the lambda.
