calling ecu mappers

please can you explain this in simplar terms for me and also the benefits and disadvantadges of the unichip plus the best ecu or remap for a 1k budget possibly slightly less for a 97 uk turbo

THE UNICHIP WOULD COST £763:75 FITTED PLUS THE COST OF A TURBO CONTROL MODULE IF YOU WANTED THE BOOST MAPPED AS WELL . WE WOULD NEED A WEEK TO TEN DAYS NOTICE . THE TORQUE FIGURE IS ACHEVIABLE DEPENDING ON THE MODS , THE CAR COULD ALSO BE REMAPPED VIA A BABY BOARD AND INTERNAL CHIP FOR THE SAME SORT OF COST AND THIS WOULD RETAIN THE SAFETY OPERATION BUILT INTO THE ECU AS WELL

Either way works.

Or you can also get the Apexi Power FC fitted and mapped for £700 though you need a boost controller too...

Apexi Power FC does not need a separate boost controller. It can control the boost and has 4 selectable settings.
If you want to exceed the OEM map sensor range then an upgraded sensor is all that is required.
