Anyone Know A Good Sales Manager Available?

After a Sales Manager for our new company...

Central London based, selling a totally unique & revolutionary product in the Express Logistics industry - so different that it makes the sale a doddle...

Looking for proven track record etc etc. Industry experience a bonus but not required. Must be hard working & not full of it ;)

OTE 75K++ & bens etc

Any interested parties please either PM or email as per profile in the first instance.

May also be potential in other Sales/Marketing areas.

(Company scoob not an option but you never know ;) )

not full of it
I'm sorry, I don't think there is such thing as a sales manager that isn't full of it ;) :D

If you do get someone who isn't 'full of it' then tell them to feel free to ring me - would make a nice change from the kind I usually get ;)

Puff The Magic Wagon! 29 June 2004 09:50 AM

TBH - there's "full of it" & "full of it".

We don't mind someone who is "full of it" if they are actually able to sell our service. :D

Its the "full of it" that say they're gods gift to the sales arena who couldn't sell water to a thirsty man in the middle of a desert at midday that we're trying to avoid!

Whole sales teams considered...

Ah, I get you now :D Its a shame its based in Central London as I cant stand driving in the place now days. I'd rather wax my nutts with duck tape

If selling the product is that easy why do you need to pay £75k++?

I'm not a salesman & nor are the directors - besides they're going to be very very busy, believe me :D

Its OTE anyway. Basic is reasonably low but we want rapid growth & market penetration, so offer a good commission package. Bring in what we want gets you that, bring in more gets you more.

There's also the bit about building up a Sales Team, so management needed & so on.

Thanks Puff......

I was being facetious..... didn't expect a sensible reply!! :D

Anyone else? Job's a going beggin'...

foamy 29 June 2004 10:46 PM

Need a tea boy? :p

princessyin 29 June 2004 11:55 PM

at £70k i'll learn ;) that's a serious offer!!!

Ted Maul 30 June 2004 01:52 PM

what does OTE stand for?

ProperCharlie 30 June 2004 02:00 PM

On Target Earnings

Ted Maul 30 June 2004 02:15 PM

thanks. quite heavily depends on the 'target' then....

Puff The Magic Wagon! 01 July 2004 11:09 AM

OTE

We have a growth requirement. Bring in the minimum & it'll be £50k. Bring in expected & it'll be £75k (hence OTE) bring in more & away you go.

Not a job for an order taker, rather someone that can go out & get business. We'll provide the backup & ensure that the work brought in is done as it is sold - the best courier service available.

Still looking at the moment - anyone?
