Mac OS 10 AND Windows?

Is it possible?

Currently got 2 HDD's partitioned up (data, linux, xp). Is it possible to partition some HDD space and install Mac OS X? So on the current boot up, I get the options for linux and xp but would like mac os x as it's rather smart (with one serious shortcoming for me but that's another thread).

If it's not a no-can-do exercise, how would I get a copy of os x? £ostly?

No can do on the same machine as your Win system, they run off a different chipset (x86) and the Mac's run on PowerPC.

Only way is to get yourself a Mac to run it off, you can then run Virtual PC and boot Windows from OSX.

Don't bother with PearPC OSX emulator (yet) as it runs approximately 3000 times slower.

What's the shortcoming? Games?

Current set-up is fine (XP and Linux). Just saw my 'soon-to-be-on-my-desk-at-work' G5 with dual processors etc. running OS X (use 9.2. at the mo) and thought 'yeah! I'd like that at home'. Not to be I suppose. Had to ask in case it was easy.

Looking forward to saying goodbye to crap mac OS 9.2. :D

9.2 was what always put me of Macs before last year (first experience with OSX). I have to keep telling myself I have only been using Macs for a year  but it feels like I know it inside out. I would hate the thought of having to use 9.2 now though.

I have a dual 1.8 at work shortly after getting that I had to get the same at home. No doubt you will be soon too :p
