Your better off replacing with a single din - far more choices, a lot better value for money and usually superior quality.

Just get a single din pocket from your local Scoob dealer for about £20......

I had a top of the range Alpine unit as a double din at one point - but as with most double din units it didnt have face off removal and was a large magnet to would be thieves........ even though its a double there are a fair few muppets out there that will still attempt to steal just to be a tw*t

As for Kenwood........bit like having a Peco Power master exhaust - crap quality, sounds awful and is a total waste of money.......stick to decent quality like Alpine........ at the very least.......

Oooooohhh maybe I've upset someone........... but then some people are deaf when it comes to good sound quality....................

Fangoria,

Dounts you've upset anyone. The question was "ARe there any DOuble Din untis available". Anybody thinking of spending a serious amount of money on ICE will have a listen beforehand. I do think you're over exagerating a bit on the Kenwood sound quality though.

Had Kenwood before on previous cars and have heard some of the later stuff - wont be going back there

Seriously though would never, now consider paying £900-£1k for a double din - they are not worth the money...............
