which springs?
Having just fitted 18s to my classic it now sits a little high. Am looking at fitting lowering springs, either the prodrive set or eibachs. Any views on these, or others I should look at, prices for supply and fit and good places in the esex area would be appreciated.
Many thanks...... |
I have eibachs on my wagon, it knocks the fillings out my teeth, cant say what prodrive springs will do though :D Eibach advertise their springs as improving the ride quality, total bollox IMHO, its harder than a coffin nail :D but it handles like never before ;)

Eibachs used to have 4 kits & they have now taken the best of all kits & put them into one kit. Fitted many of these & IMHO they do improve the ride, driving characteristics & also lower the car.
On driving cars with prodrive springs, they have been a little too hard for me. Get to some meets & blag a few rides.....you'll soon find out if the car is as you would want it! |
The Eibachs are a progressive spring. Mine have never proved to be uncomfortable or too hard.
