Phone upgrade, howz this work then?
 

Been a Vodafone contract customer for 5 years, had current phone for 3 yrs (couldn't be bothered upgrading till now:rolleyes: ). Phoned Vodafone, fancied the Sony T630, upgrade price on existing (low) contract is 140 quid.
Phoned Carphone Warehouse, same conversation, existing contract (through Vodafone), upgrade price 20 quid.
So how the feck do Carphone Warehouse make any money? Phone's arrived and all I've given them is 20 quid..:confused:

they take commision from your phone bill from vodafone mate, i believe? :D

I upgrade mine every year... just go into Vodaphone and tell them its time for my upgrade!
I know that I pay an insurance policy with my bill that allows this upgrade, and i'm going to make sure I take full advantage of it! :)

You get an even better deal if you leave and rejoin the only down side is a new number but how many people do you actually have to give it to?
