PDA and GPS Speed camera locators
Does anyone have and use a PDA computer with GPS and speed camera location software?
Whats it like? |
Great!
[HP Ipaq 2210, TomTom Navigator 3, CheckPOInt 3.02, PocketGPSWorld speed camera database, TomTom Bluetooth GPS -- see this thread] For general advice, check out www.pocketgpsworld.co.uk and its forums. |

Yes - it's good. You have a choice - use the freeware version that can be used with Checkpoint POI software. Most say it is OK, but I must admit I found a few cameras missing. Or you can use the subscription based service available from people like Trafcam. £79 and then £49 a year after that - similar to Road Angel. I've got this now and so far it is proving very accurate.

Well I didn't move it! - But it will probably get a bigger audience here rather than Computer related! There are already several related threads in NSR. With respect your original post makes no mention of a Scoob, so the mod did the right thing by putting here.
