Bring on Ronaldo!!

Hi, Just back from Portugal myself last night.

I applied for tickets last year.
I made it to the England v France game, Sweden v Bulgaria and Croatia v France.
I missed ZZ's penalty as me and my mate left the ground after the free-kick thinking thats it a draw, refs gonna blow the whisltle. Boy was I wrong. I had to sit amongst the English the whole game and even gave them a wee clap when Lampard scored. Could not cheer at all at the French goals.

Seen the 5-0 thrashing of Bulgaria. Bought some Sweden tops from the Euro2004 superstore in Lisbon. English fans were saying congrats and shaking my hand all night after the game. One guy asked me what part of Sweden I was from after asking me the score and scorers and I said Scotland. His reply Your a W*@ker. He did see the funny side though. I had to support someone.

Third game was Croatia V France boy those Croatia fans are mental. All total nut jobs. Bought the France top for that game. I got some cool mpegs and pics of all the games I went to as well.

I thought the games were superb and did not want to come back but hey we got to earn a living.

England played well tonight I thought, could Portugal be the next scalp ?

Ahh - the hopes of a Nation dashed again.
