West Lothian Pub Meet - Friday 25th

Hello all,

Been a while since our last West Lothian. Let's decide on a venue - somewhere near Spooks this time in Sunny Bathgate!!!

I have suggested a date above - anyone got any ideas of a place for a few "refreshments".

Brian :D

Have u tried the Brucefield Farm (in Livi) - nice big car park and out of the way of prying eyes too...can see the cars from the bar/restaurant

SSR go there sometimes for their monthly meet - never had any hassle - Skylines, RX7, MX-5s, Scoobs etc...all parked up without inicident

Even a play area for kiddies if needs must ;)

evojkp 19 June 2004 07:32 PM

Brian YA idiot....do you mean the 24th or Friday???? You cannot do both as Friday is the 25th.

Here's me looking for a few jars as well and now I'll not make it :(

If its the Friday 25th .... I'm up for it Thursday may be more tricky .

No idea of good pubs to drink in Bathgate ..... Fairway ( quiet ?) or Kaim Park IIRC has a decent car park in case any of the Edinburgh/Glasgow troops fancied a drive by Diet Coke ;)

Keith,

Need to be Friday for me as I am working every night but then.

If we can't agree on a suitable public house, it may have to be the good old Bleaberry and Spooks will need to share your taxi - LOL!!! Culd be worse, he could be staying at ma hoose!!

Brian.

dont think it would be wise for me to go to this one, as it is whitburn galaday the day after, and i am in charge of the BBQ. I dont think everyone would appreciate me throwing-up over there burgers.

see you all at the next one

Sorry Guys,

Rule me out. My Gran died suddenly yesterday and I am going to the funeral in Irvine on Friday so will not really be up for the banter.

Soon though.

Brian :(

evojkp 23 June 2004 04:31 PM

Sorry to here that mate. My condolences to you and your family.

wrxmania 23 June 2004 05:07 PM

Thanks John,

A bit of a shock for us all. She was 84, died in her sleep on the couch so a good innings and no suffering.

Passed your house last night at about 6 (working in Kilmarnock at night all this week) and seen the "local youth club" on the wall looking at the beast and pointing.

Brian :D

Spooks 23 June 2004 05:52 PM

Brian condolences to you and your family mate.

New To Scoob 24 June 2004 07:55 AM

All the best to you and your family.
