Need help settling a feud with Re-Bitten Hero

Which is the most common coloured Scoob in Britain?

and which one out of DBM and Sonic 74F blue or WR Blue looks the best polished in sunlight?

I personally think 74F blue is by far nicer then DBM but I will let the majority decide.

*Sonic* 19 June 2004 10:19 AM

I would reckon Silver is the most common Classic shape scoob in the UK (dont forget we didnt get Sonic Blue officially, cept for P1's, and a dozen or so 22B's)

The majority of the pre-facelift ones, tend to be silver, especially all of the ones I see

And as to which is best in polished sunlight :D :D :D (I know I am biased)

You missed off WR Blue!! :D

Jason

*Sonic* 19 June 2004 10:25 AM

Yep forgot to add, that the most common colour new age scoob is WR Blue

rarest has to be (for new age) white, green, and dark blue

only ever seen one of each of those

Wurzel 19 June 2004 10:27 AM

sorry but I sort of classed WR blue in with the Classic sonic blue as it is only a marginal tone change but it is definately not DBM.

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 10:31 AM

No question, DBM DBM DBM DBM :D:D:D

Most classics are DBM, not silver...

And DBM looks best :)

jaycee 19 June 2004 10:33 AM

Well you should have made it clear Wurzel!! :D
We're not mind readers you know.

Jason

p.s. can I change my vote now?

scoobydooooo 19 June 2004 10:36 AM

i've seen loads of wr blue new age scoobs , mine is silver by the way , but i've not seen a white one yet !! my old scoob was blue and i do like the wr blue but have got to like the silver just as much :D anyway , hehehehe , silver ones are faster , { oh no not again !!!} :D:D:D

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 10:36 AM

Also there were two variants of DBM - Deep Blue Mica and Dark Blue Mica, which were slightly different, but we'll class them together in this case :).

voted P1 blue, simply due to the fantastic example that parks in our works car park. Best looking scooby I've ever seen, and a perfect colour. Newage is quite similar but seems a little lighter?

Redkop 19 June 2004 10:44 AM

There ya go Steve ;)

Wurzel 19 June 2004 10:46 AM

Cheers Lynne :D

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 10:56 AM

Cheat, getting help from Mods!

Lynne, please separate out the various types of medium blue, i.e. sonic blue, WR blue, ... that should help dilute Wurz's vote ;)

*Sonic* 19 June 2004 10:58 AM

And then can you seperate out DBM and DMB to dilute Re-Bittens vote :D

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 10:59 AM

Yeah but no-one knows the difference between the DBMs so that wouldn't work ;)

little_idiot 19 June 2004 11:01 AM

controversially

DGM!

very under rated and it's a color that photos and winter doens't do justice, this time of year though it looks amazing in the sun

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 11:03 AM

Cue pictures of Matt's car with Army stickers all over it from last year's NBO ;) :)

But you're right, the DGM is nice too...

(but do me a favour and vote for DBM ;))

GaryK 19 June 2004 11:15 AM

interesting to see blue black and silver tying for top spot as I voted, Ive had two blue but no.3 is defo going to be black!

Floyd 19 June 2004 11:16 AM

You've forgotton the best colour of all

F :D

pearcey555 19 June 2004 11:19 AM

Red all the way !!!!

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 11:22 AM

Very shiny Floyd :D and your car does look great, it has to be said...

But DBM is just a mite better ;).

Richard

Wurzel 19 June 2004 11:22 AM

Jeeeeez I didn't think this would be so hard, green is green whether it is green or DGM

I know there are difference between red and DRM and Green and DGM but the argument is between the light blue of the P1, 22B etc and the DBM/DBM whichever that is.

also only having 10 options is not enough to list all the pedantic subtle colour changes.

The STi7 is not 74F or WR blue but I don't hear any complaints about that they are all basically teh same colour which is why I lumped them in to one pot.

David_Wallis 19 June 2004 12:28 PM

floyd.. think theres a family living under them wheel arches :D

Scoobychick 19 June 2004 12:53 PM

If I vote against DBM will that affect my chances of a paddock pass at the GP? :D

Actually I think black is the nicest so I guess as long as I don't vote sonic blue I'm ok? ;) I'll withold my vote for now though, just in case and, btw I do accept bribes :D

I'm confused as it is with all the variants of colours

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 01:27 PM

Sal, if you vote DBM then you can borrow my Ferrari VIP pass at this year's British GP :) How's that for a bribe?

R

Scoobychick 19 June 2004 01:40 PM

Done :D

julian N/W wrx my93 19 June 2004 01:49 PM

but we all know silver is the fastest!

Re-Bitten Hero 19 June 2004 01:50 PM

:D

And as you're a moderator, can't you cast about 20 votes for me? ;)
