And you wonder why I want out.

I don't know the full story as I don't work at that particular school.

I hope to hell they are innocent, but it's guilty until proven otherwise in this f***ed up job. :(

I work in North Ayrshire quite near to Kerlaw. Been in there a couple of times. Having dealt with the kids in there and other similar places I think this kind of thing is terrible. The people who spend their working lives looking after the little angels need much more powers to deal with them, not to mention medals. A lot of these kids are totally outwith the control of the staff who are supposed to be looking after them. Not surprising when you consider the rules of residential homes. Personally I think the interests of the law abiding public should be of much more importance than the Human Rights of these little scroats.

Well said, i think that (flame me if you may) but the ned culture are taking over & when thay do something wrong nothing can be done due to either there under 16 or Human Rights:mad:

Bollocks if you ask me

I was raised with a kinda strick father & i must say it never done me any wrong, these new laws that "might" be coming into place really need research to allow the goverment to implement them

Just my 2p's

Tree huggers always stir up trouble in this type of job Dougster. I know of social workers who had an 8 hour meeting because a worker called a young girl a "kid".
The person susiquently lost thier job. Bring back borstal.
Three words.......
SHORT
SHARP
SHOCK.

rant over, back to work.
