Due to overwhelming demand, both Scooby track sessions at Silverstone this year are now full. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
Before we book a third session, I need to make sure there is sufficient demand.
IF anyone is interested in going on the track, please reply here.
Priority will go to those that have not yet got a track place, but if anyone wants a second/third session kindly still put your name down.
This will be your last chance to go out on track with the club. The only sessions left will be the open ones with other cars.

I also need more cars to come along on a 'stand-only' basis. As of June 1st, entry tickets are now £6 per person. Anyone interested in this please send your cheques off to the club.
We have a really good pitch and I'd like to get as many cars there as poss'.
Thanks again to all of you that have already supported this event, you will receive confirmation in the near future. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

I know I'm replying to this a little late. And we haven't joined SIDC yet (was waiting a couple of months you know), but we would love to to be there... (are you looking for a mint (except a couple of wheel digs) RB5+WR sport for the stand????

Danny Fisher 04 June 2000 01:50 PM

Stef, put my name down for this.....

Stef,
Car is due (think it's a girl http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif - sorry) in 3 weeks.

I'll be keen to take it to the track as soon as the first 1000 miles are done. Could you give me more info re price, location, track time etc.

Thanks,

Mike

Stuart Page 04 June 2000 11:22 PM

Hi Stef, Could you refresh our memories regarding cost of track time, and where cheques need to be posted to?!!
(Are helmets required for track time?)

Stef 05 June 2000 11:22 PM

The event is TRAX 2000 and it takes place on Sunday Sept 10th.
Look at the topic in Southern Events for more info.
Those who send money off for track sessions now wil go onto a reserve list.
Once we have enough people to book the session, we will.
If we don't, money will be returned.
I don't think there will be much chance of that though. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Send your dosh off now to the usual club address.
£6 per person entry (went up £1 last week) and £20 for the track session.
Helmets are required, and you cannot take passengers unfortunately. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
I would like as many cars as poss on the stand, those not wanting track sessions still send off your dosh! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Stef.

There are a couple of places left in the third track session.
Anyone interested send your dosh off asap! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

In the post today, actually posted £6 entry per person, cos the last note I read said it was now £6 per person.

How can book the missus onto a fast circuit drive?

Greg

Jay m A 06 July 2000 04:02 PM

Stef,

I sent off money for SIDC membership and for the 3rd session yesterday, am I in?

I didn't realise the entrance fee went up by £1, I read the Southern thread instead of this one.

cheers

Justin

Stef 06 July 2000 04:45 PM

We have a number of fast circuit rides available, but the allocation of these has not yet been decided.
They will probably mainly go to partners or children.
I will announce something nearer the time.

Stef.
