Tracking

If you opt for RAC Trackstar, you can remove it when you change cars and re-install it into the next.
It also comes with the option of speed camera detection.

Hope this helps,

did lots of homework before getting mine, Police reccomended RAC Trackstar & I am not dissapointed with that decision.

How much is a RAC Trackster (im guessing this will differ) but generally. Say for purchasing, fitting, subscription etc.

Im trying to find some info on it on the RAC site but its pretty hopeless!

£499.00 form Gap

It should be a standard price and on the RAC Trackstars website. I would avoid getting it from someone that is not an authorised dealer though. I would recommend calling RAC Trackstar and asking for your nearest "approved" dealer.

Incidentally, there are prices on our website if you do not find RAC Trackstars useful.

yep found it ..........http://www.gapsecurity.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=30

£499.99

Ok so 450ish, any ideas on the subscription costs as well?

keefy 18 June 2004 06:37 PM

The annual subscription is £120 per year or £325 for a "duration" subscription, all payable directly to the RAC. If you pay by direct debit then you get 3 free months of the "safe speed" option (which incidentally you do not have to continue with)

I would also advocate getting it fitted by an approved dealer, but remember some dealers haven't got a clue they just talk "big"

If you want to move it to another car then you will have to take out a new subscription and pay for it to be removed/re-installed.

hth :-)
