Don't know what they recommend but I know what they acually did - I had a puncture in one tyre which was not repairable so dealer simply replaced one tyre (at about 8,000 miles from new)
I have had no obvious problems since. JD |
Thanks Jay. Maybe it will settle once the silicon's off the tread.

Does anyone know if Subaru reccomend you fit two tyres if you need a replacement... I know Volvo won't allow Kwik Fit etc. to single fit tyres.
I punctured the rear drivers side last week and had to replace the bugger. The other 3 tyres have done about 4k. But I'm fecked if I'm buying two SO2s. Will this effect the steering. I've checked pressures and balance etc... |

I'm having trouble locating the particular thread I saw here that relates. Apparently because of AWD it is important to have tyres that have very similar levels of tread. I think someone was suggesting that otherwise wear can occur in the diffs. I can't remember if it applied to all four corners or per axle. Jason |
