Nice place to eat in Henley area
 

Hello !

I am looking for a nice gastro-pub type of place to eat this Friday in the Henley/Wargrave area, or anywhere near the Thames in that area. Anyone got any ideas ????

having eaten at the waterside a few times i think head chef might have something to say about being called a gastro-pub!

i used to run a little place down that way and its fantastic, it even had a michelin star when i was there.

its called the stonor arms hotel.

about 5 mins out of henley.

pinsen likes the place quite a lot, he used to go every week for a feed.

not seen the place for a whilst, but i bet its still excellent.

lol, his daughter claire is going with a bloke called benard fabre, he apparantly told bernard that if he ever hurt her he would do something along those lines to him :D
