Get yourself on the Dell outlet site:

http://outlet.dell.com/Emea_Dfo/EuDi...onstraint=INSP

I just bought an Inspiron 8600, it was reduced from £2100 to £1100 - quite a saving and it arrived within 3 days

Good luck

pc world have got some blinding deals

darlodge 09 June 2004 05:10 PM

PC World also have some blindingly stupid staff as well :D

I make a point of NEVER asking for their assistance, all that I have spoken are useless.

Have a look here or here

But as jevvyg said, Dell Outlet or even the Normal Dell store

It would be a mistake to assume that the sales staff in PCWorld are anything more than shop assistants. There are some knowledgeable people in the clinics, but there are a lot of tossers too. Ive always found them to be far worse in the South East and better in the North.

Mac; you'll remember what I said about the assistants...? If you have any problems with the kit then send me a PM and I will see that it is sorted out for you, by your local store, in the manner that you'd expect.

Simon
