Hey John

Nice looking car..I always wanted one :)

Thanks for keeping the carbon bonnet safe for me, it's in the garage.....silver into blue in a few weels !!

Cheers

Midlife.....

PS did you get the number plate as well ??

fastfrank 06 June 2004 10:13 PM

What was wrong with the scoob? Is this car much better?

rally_bubbles 07 June 2004 08:48 AM

Nice choice - we got one last year. I had fancied a scoob, but him indoors always wanted a Four, so we got one (also the WRC). Now I wouldn't swap it :-)

carterjohn 07 June 2004 09:13 AM

yea i got the plate aswell,as for the scoob it was gr8 but i just fancied somthing different.i never keep cars that long.

RS Grant 07 June 2004 11:25 AM

Alright mate.. Saw the car you've just bought on the GT4 Owners Club.. Nice car, nice spec, good price!! :)

Thinking of doing this myself as I am getting the urge to be driving something, different. The WRC has got those features, however, they arent activated!! The Water Spray can be re activated without too much hassle but if you use the Anti-Lag then the turbo is only meant to last about a couple of thousand miles!!

Cheers,
Grant

carterjohn 07 June 2004 11:27 AM

yea ive done some research myself, still dont know why they put it on and didnt activate it ?
john

RS Grant 07 June 2004 12:38 PM

It was for the Homologation (sp?) Regulations that they put it on, however I agree..... Seems stupid that they never actually activated the Water Spray, as that would definitely be a benefit, meant to be fairly simple to re-activate it though!! ;)

Anti-Lag, well, fair enough.. Toyota probably didnt want the warranty claims for new Turbo's every few thousand miles, per car!! :D

Cheers,
Grant
