EXHAUST VERSES WARRANTY
 

Just wondering if anyone can help, i would like to fit a new backbox to my car but i am unsure of the warranty implications in doing so, i asked the dealer today but the guy didn`t really know, all he said was " thats a grey area sir, you had better call back and speak to ........... ". I`m just wondering if anyone here has had a definete yes or no from their dealer as to whether or not it will invalidate the warranty, apologies if this is an already exhausted question :)

my dealer has said it'd be fine, but then he isn't IM doing a spot check on warranties, and he didn't put anything in writing.

Exhaust/DV/Air Filter can ALL be classed as Mods to invalidate your warranty :( along with changing the oil yourself and NOT using a dealer oil filter :mad:

Best to keep ALL parts your are upgrading and replace them if the car needs to go into the dealer for any warranty work ;)

WR sport is fine on my MY03,

Major warranty work happening just now, no probs.
