Hard drive partitioning

I have a 40gb hard drive partitioned 20/20 - how do I change the sizes to 25/15?

You either need partition magic or to fdisk and reformat the drive from scratch (which means reinstalling everything again)

Whilst Partionmagic will do what you want, be very careful if you intent to use it. One wrong option and good bye data :( Been there done that :(

If the HDD is formatted using NTFS, i'm pretty sure you can convert the basic disk to dynamic and you can alter the partition sizes.

Whatever you do, backup all your non re-installable data.

You could always buy a new hard disk, aria are selling 40Gb hard disks for £32!
