Quick poll....!!!

A quick simple poll. I keep hearing people saying they either like scoobies with gold alloys or they like prefer them with silver alloys. So which is it to be...??? Gold or Silver..?? Makes no odds to me personally. I like the look of both. Sorry, forgot to add the anthracite option and don't know how to edit the poll if I can.

anthrocite mate ;)

Neilo 26 May 2004 07:13 PM

SC008Y_MAD 26 May 2004 07:14 PM

Gold is a SUBARU tradition

Maverick FAF 26 May 2004 07:28 PM

Anthrocite is the choice of kings

Changed my Gold prodrive alloys to Anthrocite when I bought my car. God dam it looks good.

Anthrocite also still looks good when coated in brake dust!!!

PS Its dam hot in Egypt today, hope it's not raining in blighty.

elgordano 26 May 2004 07:59 PM

depends what the colour the car is and how it is styled.....silver for me.

Mikkk 26 May 2004 08:05 PM

If silver = bright flitter Prodirive-FF7's ... I likes 'em on my black MY03 STi UK I do :D

16vmarc 26 May 2004 08:06 PM

Wheres the anthracite option

BlueBoy 26 May 2004 08:30 PM

I've always been a gold fan ;)

c7blue 26 May 2004 08:35 PM

another anthracite fan i'm afraid...

JOHNSTI 26 May 2004 08:41 PM

gold its an institution:)

Graz 27 May 2004 12:37 PM

Depends on the colour of the car really. I've got a red mica classic at the moment, if I ever scrape together the cash for a set of 17s I think I will go for anthracite. Got silver wheels at the moment.

However the new shape STI in WR blue with gold wheels is  One day I will have one :)

rossi_p 27 May 2004 01:47 PM

depends on colour of the scoob

silver or white (or the RB5) = anthracite / gunmetal
blue = gold

Peanuts 27 May 2004 01:52 PM

gold on a green car is the rent-boy special...!

that'll be my car then

SirFozzalot 27 May 2004 02:07 PM

ooohhhh...its 50-50 at the moment!

Brit_in_Japan 27 May 2004 03:03 PM

I agree with Graz & rossi, it depends on the colour of the car. I have just put some secondhand 17" STi forged wheels on my white JDM WRX wagon. Although I really like the wheels (light, strong, unfussy) they are gold and IMHO it really doesn't suit a white car. But they were a good price and came with nearly new Pirelli P0-Nero's so I'm not going to complain

much :(

TAINTON 27 May 2004 03:11 PM

Another vote for Gold ;)

scoobydooooo 27 May 2004 03:16 PM

yep it depends on the colour of the car , i for one have just bought a silver scooby and sold my gold wheels , they would have looked too dodgy in my opinion :D

scooby-si 27 May 2004 03:21 PM

gold came as standard on mine:D

scoobynutta555 27 May 2004 03:24 PM

P1 = gold. Anthracite looks pants :D

AJbaseBloke 27 May 2004 03:26 PM

Yer can't please some peeps :p

Got gold on white - sets the intent of the car off nicely IMHO. Not for the faint hearted though - cops seem to be attracted by them too;)

rb5037 27 May 2004 05:29 PM

Still 50/50 :)

SILVER!!!

SCD Simon 27 May 2004 06:35 PM

It's a tough one to answer coz it depends on the colour of the car.
I prefer Silver though :D

ThrustSSC 27 May 2004 10:20 PM

Gold wheels on my silver MY03 STi looked chav. Bright flitter FF7s on the other hand... :D

sti-04!! 27 May 2004 10:33 PM

GOLD

cefski 27 May 2004 10:35 PM

Gold doesn't cut it for me. Mine are silver but I'd trade them in for anthracite jobbies any day.

scoobchrissy 27 May 2004 10:44 PM

Like other's have said, depend's on the colour of the car, i prefere GOLD myself :)

Gridlock Mikey 27 May 2004 10:55 PM
