Oil Filter size on WRX MY04
 

Just bought a new oil filter from a Subaru dealer for my nearly new WRX MY04 (1000 mile change).
It seems rather small (from memory alot smaller than on my old MY02 car).
Have they given me the correct one?
Its part no: 15208 AA080 and says 'Elem CP Oil Flt' on the box with 'Engine' printed on the base.
I haven't been under the car to compare with the fitted one yet but the receipt does say 'Oil Filter - All Model' .
Have I been sold the wrong one?? TIA.

They changed the size a while back to a smaller One.

Yes, here here. The size is a lot smaller on the newer scoobs. I bought some for mine (WRX03) a few months ago and they were still the large ones because they were clearing their stocks for the new small ones. NO need to worry:cool:
