help please

Not sure if this section is just for scoobys or not but i thought i would give it a whirl knowing it will be moved or deleted if in the wrong place!

Have a 1 litre peugeot 205 trio, I cannot get the front washers to work on it. have tried replacing the fuses but still nothing. What else could it be, i know it could just be a power issue to the motor or it could also be a dodgy motor is there any way i can check this as mot is due very very soon (tomorrow) and will not pass without these in full working order.
Thanx in advance
Tams

One way is to check the voltage to the washer motor using a multimeter. You'll need somebody to help operate the washers though. - If you've got 12 volts (ish) it will be the motor.

You could also connect the washer directly to the battery using a couple of suitably sized cables (or else you might melt them) - WARNING!!! This isn't really sensible, and ensure you DON'T SHORT the two cables together!!!
