Make sure that you have relocated all of the plugs properly.

Which plugs, am I right in thinking there are just 3.

BTW No gauges yet Mike, any chance of chasing them up??

Cheers and Regards

Richie

Having just refitted new Fuel and water gauges....ahem....See previous post why this was necessary ! The rev counter refuses to budge. Ive fitted the two multi plugs at the sides and the small blue plug on the back, any ideas why its not working??

Is it maybe a needle spring tension thing??

Thanks

Richie

Crikey, now you're asking.

From memory, I have a feeling that there are 3 multi-plugs on the back?
One either side, one in the middle?

Could be wrong?

<Gavin should have contacted you about gauges already, if not drop me a line.

Mike.

When you fitted the dials, if the spindle came out with the rev counter needle, its likely that the unit is now broken.

When fitting dial kits, you need to clamp the rev counter spindle and pull the needle off the spindle.

Bum, I hope not, thatll be a very expensive White Dial kit!!

If you have broke it, you won't be the first (looks around innocently) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Myself and another board member did very similar to our fuel & temp gauges. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

I reported this back to Lockwood direct and changes were made to the temp/fuel gauge dials as a result.

Did the needle slide off, or has the small spindle come out with it?

Mike.
