Wondering what you guys think are REAL alternatives to the Scooby. By that I mean in the same bracket regards 4x4, cost, performance ?

Second hand Mitsubishi EVO 4 or 5?

How does the Evo 4 (and 5) compare ?

Have the more or less done what Subaru have done to the standard model ?

Why not go all the way and go for the EVO VI.
If you were intending to buy a new scooby. A second hand Evo can now be bought for around 22-23k.
You'll have something thats better put together performs better and is nowere near as common on the road, and in my opinion looks seriosly AWESOME !!

i considered one but decided i wanted a uk ralliart one for the warranty etc and wasn't prepared to part with that much money !

still i'll be considering an Evo when i change my MY00 scoob. waiting to see the Evo VII and Scooby MY01.

although i think its gonna be easy enough to lose my licence in a scoob let alone a more powerful Evo VI !!

went around a roundabout just down the road from work (and home !) on friday night just after 6pm a bit quick, albeit not recklessly, and mr plod was sitting across the road decided to have a chat with me !

the scoob just attracts so much attention !

not that an Evo attracts less !
