I've done a search but couldn't find anything.
Basically I want to change my main bulbs and have been really heaving and grunting to remove the rubber covers after removing the electrical connecters and am having a bit of bother! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif I dont want to really pull too hard and damage anything, so any tips how to do it easier? Cheers Iain |
The rubber covers just pull off quite easily.

Try peeling them up from the bottom. Try and get your fingers under them from the bottom.

do they??! maybe I'm doing it wrong but mine seem like they're welded on! I'll try again tonight. Cheers Iain |
Mine were very stiff as well - just give them a very good tug, pull from the top and they do come off.

How many scooy owners does it take to change a ... whoops, never mind.
Tiger's right, the rubber covers fit over a lip on the headlamp to afford a better seal, so you shouldn't just pull at them, you may damage them... just be gentle and remove the cover from the headlight end. Moray |
