Opinions Wanted

We have recently opened up envy-UK, a new site based solely on the discussion of modified cars.

It would be greatly appreciated if you were to visit the site, even register if you wish to, and let me know what you think about the general look and feel of it. Please bare in mind that the site has been open for a matter of days, so we're working on building up members and posts.
The address of the site is as follows;
http://www.envy-uk.co.uk.

I hope that this has been posted in the correct place and doesn't break any rules; just trying to send out a feeler. However, if it has, please pardon my ignorance.

I can see that there has been a fair few visits from you guys, so I'd appreciate a comment or two in this thread, if possible.

The only thing I can say as for starting a new forum is that it takes time for it to grow to 'a critical mass', where you have enough people surfing it and posting for it to actually 'take off'..

Also, I think you need to have more than just a forum to get people to come, although I guess scoobynet's just a forum, but atleast get a front page maybe with links into interesting howto's and stuff in the forum...

Nova's and 205's so far. No thanks. Good luck with it though :)

We're trying to cater for the entire scene, regardless of make/model. At the moment, we're only new, so we'll make some errors and learn from them, which may result in us adding new features and such. We're not asking you to choose between the two, just consider that there are other options out there.

Hence me posting this thread.

I understand it takes time, but if everyone looks at it in the same light and doesn't post because of that fact, then there's little chance of growth.

We're working on adding additional features, however, we need the content first.

I'm guessing you missed the Evo VIII that a member of ours has?

Again, the same attitude; the 'so far' viewpoint. Perhaps with a little input from these people, we could expand and benefit everyone.

Thank you for the kind words, nevertheless.
