I'm sure I read somewhere that MY00 headlamps and fogs are tougher hence covers aren't needed.

Comments?

cheers,

Greg

Don't know if they are any tougher but they are clear with a strange alien looking silver prism type thing (technical term) over the bulb, they are also still just as crap as they were on my old Sport. What is it with Subaru and useless lights ?

I have changed the bulbs to Xenon (very slight difference) but really need something that may make the dark nights a bit brighter.

Can you upgrade the bulbs in the fogs for something with a bit more oomphh (what types) !

Has anyone come up with a fog light lense conversion yet (even though there is little depth a focussed lense should provide a little more illumination)

Don't know about these RING additional lamps, seen them in Halfords they look small and neat but where do they fit on a IMP's front end without looking like a load of B's ?

Replace fogs with driving lamps.

Either Piaa's (from your dealer) or Cibie's from Scoobysport. 130w attached to your main beam does the trick http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Also for the measly cost of protective covers why chance to find out if the lenses are stronger?

I "lost" a headlight recently and the total bill (including protectors) came to £250! Is the risk worth it for £27+VAT?

protectors are on my list (but then so are so many other things)

Does anyone know of a mods database anywhere (mines a company lease so I can only make cosmetic changes without messing up the insurance)
