Hi all,

Sorry for bringing this old topic up again...

I'm thinking about having the fog lamp conversion on my 99 Impreza but because of the warranty and the problems with bulbs in the scoobysport conversion I'm going for the PIAA jobbies......I'm after some advice
1. Are they as good as they say they are ?
2. Are they easy to fit what do you get in the kit ..how long to do the job ?
3. Do they " stick-out " much more than the oem ones ?

But the big one....is there anyone out there who lives near to Tamworth in the Midlands who has the PIAA conversion who is willing to meet so I can have a look at how good they are ???

Thanx all

Howdy..

I'm alittle north of Tamworth..Derby to be exact..

I have the PIAA and have had the scoobysport ones (with no problems). The PIAA's do suffer from movement.... but if tightened and locked in place they are ok... I fitted myself.. I didnt bother with the proper wiring loom or relay.. I think the white looks ****e. I made my own loom... far better and cheaper.

Cheers,

J.

Howdy..

Nope...wrong reason.. the SS Lights were great... no probs.... the only bad part was the wiring loom... I had them ages back.. when Pete first started supply them. When I sold the scoob, I left the lights fitted.

I decided to give the PIAA's a try - I like to try different products.

You can get them from PIAA...
