Race Technology AP-22 performance meter

Hi,

Anyone used one of these? --> Race Technology AP-22 performance meter or something similar? Are they worthwhile? I do not have access to a rolling road so I need a way of measuring relative performace with mods as I add them! Most important to me is consistancy of data .... I will get me a knocklink also to aid in tuning.

Cheers
Paul

I have the "old style" AP22, bought a couple of years ago, but this uses the DCAT software (GBP20 activation, and i still haven't - thus CSV outputs). The new AP22 uses the fancy new-fangled "data analysis software" - which looks pretty cool.

However, would look on it as being primarily an accelleration/decelleration/cornering measuring device, as BHP, 0-60s etc are all "calculated" rather than directly measured.

Finances permitting, i may upgrade to the AX22 which looks the dogs!!! I get a ton off the list price for a trade-in.

Oh, and when i originally bought my AP22, i got a 10% ScoobyNet discount - so don't forget to ask!!
