Now the clocks have gone back and I'm yet again doing long distances and finding myself wondering how the hell they sell a car with such crap headlights! My old mans 6 years old Skoda is better (I joke not!). I thought when I bought the MY99 to replace the 97 model, that the headlights would be better. No such luck. Tried Xeon bulbs and I'm buggered if I can see any improvement. So it's 100/80's for me until my driving light conversion turns up from good old Pete (lets hope some turn up in the shop next week before my wiring melts!).

I have a MY97 and thought the same about the headlights! I had a Volvo 340 with better headlights!! (Oh God, did I just admit I use to drive a Volvo!)

I got the driving light conversion from ScoobySport, which were great! Only downside was switching them off, and still being able to see nothing, even though I was using Halfords Plasma blue bulbs!

I think Kev, on the BBS recommend I try the PIAA Plasma White 80/80W!! They were great and are a better go between, than the Halfords bulbs and the driving lights!

Bear in mind the drivingg lights are great, but you can't keep them on all the time!!!

Yep Andy It was I !!!!!

I've invested in a pair of 85w for the standard "fog" lights and it makes a hell of a difference as well.

What exact bulb do I need for the fog lights.
I've changed the head lamps as per you previous posts, but am unsure which exact bulb I need for the fogs.

Thanks.

Darren.
