Well you dont *have* to get it done by them. Not being funny or owt.

!!!!! hey scooby96... You talking about road radio in ton..???
Not my favourite people, I have always installed everything myself... Found them very patronising. What's stopping you from fitting it..?? How pre prepared does the screen come as thats the only thing thats going to take any time... |
Bought screen off 'rs' on here so its ready to go in pretty much - it comes with the ring (!!). DVD player is straight out the box so I guess the car ( Galaxy - not mine :D ) needs a live, earth etc, then its connecting the 2 up (ie cutting the roof lining etc).
I dont want to go anywhere near cutting the interior trim as I will feck it up for sure! Stuey - was just asking if this price was about right, if it is then theres no point asking around if I think its a tad expensive. |
Fair point on cutting the roof lining... Don't think thats something i'd attempt either...!!! Although I still wouldn't take my custom to them..!! How about the one in t.wells... can't remember the name though....

Went in to Road Radio in TW - didnt like his attitude at all. Unless I bought the hardware from him he wasnt in the slightest bit interested in fitting it. He wanted £45 per hour for fitting and said it would "take as long as it took to do" !!!
Seriously disappointed with both places, on price and service. Interestingly the Tonbridge quote was based on £35 per hour! |
Might try In-Touch Installations
