Crayford or Tickford's work possibly?

RussBoy 12 May 2004 08:36 AM

Could be a Crayford Capri - if so, probably very rare and worth a few quid nowadays. I believe they were 'converted' in Westerham or Dartford in the 70's and early 80's but may stand corrected....

Either that or it could be a hatchet job as you suggested...

they do exist, saw one on ebay for sale the other day, pretty rare and even though I think capri's look good (esp. Mk1s) the cabby looks abit of a disaster area.

Yep you can buy a matching one here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...477687450&rd=1
