Anyone going to Silverstone?

Very strong rumours around the trade that this is the last British grand prix:(

I know the british public have mixed views, but I have had some of the best weekends ever at the british grand prix.

We'll be camping on Whittlebury as usual (or asleep on a mattress in the back of a MY03 wagon if the weather is s h i t t y - we were there the year of the mud- excellent laff but a tad messy;))

I doubt it will be the last one, Bernie reckons not :)

Anyway I wont be going to Silverstone this year, BUT I am going to Oulton for the BTCC if your going again :)

Need to speak to TKH and see if we can blag hospitality with Vauxhall again. When is it?

Formula 1 grand prix or the Michael Schumacher show...???????? :rolleyes:

if you want to watch the racing stay at home- we go for the atmosphere:D

didn't mean any offence there m8, I've been an avid f1 fan for years and been to the british grand prix before. I think it just needs spicing up before they start losing fans. It just doesn't seem to be much of a level playing field these days, but I guess thats a topic fo another forum.. :)

Hi RRH how far is the Whittlebury campsite from the circuit...? i was plannin to stay at the one opposite the main entrance ( is this the same One ? ) will be my first F1 race so lookin forward to it....!

Yep - I'll be there for all three days - something to do with being a petrolhead I think :)

Whittlebury is right behind Becketts- about 100yds off the circuit - the opposite side of the circuit to the one you're talking about.

We have fast track access from the other side of Silverstone so you miss all the traffic, and a bit less like a gypsy camp than the other side.

Think they are fully booked now but we have a spare pitch booked if you need one- pm me.
