Porsche Brake Problems

Just a little worrying given that Porsche has always had a reputation for fitting the best brakes to its vehicles.

Thats the problem with putting cutting edge technology on cars when its not fully tested! It happens ALL the time. Car recalls!

What I don't understand is why its £6k for an upgrade and £27k for new parts.

£27 grand for a set of brakes on a road car is insane! That will buy you a brand new Boxster 2.7 in Germany.

Equally, the cost difference between the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo is also the cost of a Boxster. Some one is getting a good deal here and I don't think its the guy replacing his Carbon Ceramic brakes.
