PF Usage

Can i safely delete the PF files and will i see any benefits in performance or otherwise in Windows XP

yes and maybe. Windows XP prefetches these files so they can be loaded faster incase you need to use them and may have some that you will never need. I have never noticed a difference by deleting them.
